DESCRIPTION TabMaker is a utility for creating tabbed topic selectors in WinHelp. The tabs are standard WinHelp segmented hypergrahic (".SHG") files, and are inserted into topics using standard bitmap references. TabMaker includes WordBasic macros that automate the tab creation process from Microsoft Word for Windows 6.0-based help authoring packages. Requires Microsoft Hotspot Editor Version 3.50.784 or 3.50.820. Shareware. TABMAKER SETUP To install TabMaker: 1) Unzip TMSETUP.ZIP to an empty directory. 2) Run TMSETUP.EXE. 3) Follow the on-screen prompts. See below for more information. INSTALLING TABMAKER AS WINWORD 6.0 ADD-IN If you have MS Word 6.0 installed on your system, the setup routine will ask if you want to install TabMaker as a WinWord 6.0 Add-In. If you do, TMSETUP.EXE copies the TabMaker files to a "TABMAKER" subdirectory below the WinWord program directory. It then opens TMSETUP.DOC, which runs a macro for installing TabMaker's WinWord tools to one or more help templates. IMPORTANT: Make sure you know which templates you want to add TabMaker to before you run TMSETUP.EXE! INSTALLING TABMAKER AS A STANDALONE APPLICATION When you install TabMaker as a standalone application, the setup routine does *not* create an icon in Program Manager (or if you're running Windows 95, add a shortcut to your Start Menu or your desktop). Please make a note of the directory that TabMaker was installed to, and make a Program Manager icon (or Windows 95 shortcut) to TABMAKER.EXE. For more help, see your Windows documentation.
